I have a friend that wanted a website for his bar and thru my hosting provider I have several available accounts open and decided I would throw something together for him.  I've been watching and reading about DNN for sometime now and decided to jump in with both feet and see how this would work and save me alot of time as I have several other friends now wanting small sites for their business.  So I got a domain and site setup and yesterday I downloaded DNN 4.02 and installed it onto the site (very painless!).  We'll call it mybar.com, and because I'm real green to DNN, when I finished I have dnn running at mybar.com/dotnetnuke_2 (dotnetnuke_2 is a vir dir, pointing to /dotnetnuke_2/website).  I quickly realized that this is where I have made my mistake, as I would like this dnn default page to show up when you enter mybar.com.  This is all fine for now as I learned alot and I can redo any of it,.

So, I'm looking for comfirmation, that I should have installed DNN on mysite.com, created a portal for mybar.com and then have mybar.com point to mysite.com/dotnetnuke_2 and then use the http alias for mybar.com?  The second hard question (to me) is how to I point mybar.com to mysite.com/dotnetnuke_2 ?  As I am using a web hosting provider I do have some ability to modify create dns zone settings and domain alias's.  Just haven't been able to find or maybe comprehend the information I need.
