Hi
Just fyi for anyone out there that runs into the same problem, if you use a 3rd party search tool and shut down the core scheduled search task, your rss feeds will stop as well.

1. My search scheduled task is currently set for 30 min intervals.  This may be a stupid question with an obvious answer but does rss functionality work off the time intervals or just the fact that the scheduled task is active? Meaning, could I set the task to once a day and still see rss feed updates throughout the day?

2. I know that the search scheduled task is a bit of a resource burden and we've had to cut every schedule corner we can to get to a repectable speed so can someone instruct me on how to insert a scheduled task that will only update the core rss so I don't have to use the seach scheduled task?

Thanks!
Mike
