We are planning on doing a big upgrade to our site and would like to use dnn v5 as it looks like it has a lot of great new enhancements. I just wanted to know roughly when it might get released as we need to start work on the upgrade in the next couple of weeks. I know it says Q2 release for v5 in the roadmap but obviously this has passed.

Cheers

there are still a number of showstoppers that needs to be ironed out before the next beta can be tested, i.e. I assume, it will take a few more weeks, until the release.

Is it possible for me to get on the beta team to help these problems?

I've been to this page http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/BetaTestingProgram/tabid/1123/Default.aspx but it doesn't look like the page has anything.
