I'm wondering what's going on with the form generated by dotnetnuke in the code below. The /form tag is clear at the end of the page, so the entire page is within that form. For one thing, this seems to prevent forms inserted in the text/html module from working. I was about to work around by putting my form in a separate file and including it via an iframe, but I'd still like to know what this eventtarget/eventargument form is doing and how I can remove it if possible.

Thanks for any help.

    <form name="form" method="post" action="/dnn/Default.aspx" id="form" enctype="multipart/form-data" style="height: 100%;">
<div>
<input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" id="__EVENTTARGET" value="" />
<input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" id="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="" />

</div>

That one form is required by the ASP.Net framework, you cannot remove it and by design you should not have more than one form on the page.

This is explained in more detail, along with a work-around here:

Your solution worked nicely for a paypal contribute button on a friend's site. Many thanks!
