Hey folks,

I'm researching DNN as an alternative to Sharepoint for my modest construction project management needs.  I think my primary needs are to have a central portal to track tasks and document reponses to various requests for information and other issues by email.  As an example, I'd like to have a discussion board, and have items linked to email correspondence so that when an email is sent, it's contents also post to the board.  Clear as mud??

Off to study some more, thx much for any advice and input!!

Hey John,

Don't quote me on this as I seem to be a perpetual noob (which I am not mad about).  Check out solutions from activemodules and see if they provide solutions to what you're requesting.  Discussion board like article/blog + comments and ratings or more like forums?
