So i want my users to be able to sign in to my DNN site using liveId.

I activated LiveID in Admin>>Authentication and i obtained an app id and secret key from windowslive, so on the portalside everything shd be correct.

At windowslive though, in application settings it asks me for the 'return URL' and searching google I found out that it shd be the url for the DNN loginpage, however i dont know what the url for the DNN loginpage is.

If i go to the loginpage the address contains query, at windowslive it says:
The field must contain a valid URL that begins with http:// or https://, cannot contain a query string, and must contain fewer than 255 characters.
So what do i put into this field?
Ive tried with "http://1hag.dk/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx" but when i try and login to my portal using liveID im redirected to login.live.com which says
Windows Live is not affiliated with 1hag.dk and will share with it only an anonymous ID. Learn more. For additional protection, you may use an Information Card.
I figure that it either has to be with the 'retun url'-thing not being correct or maybe something about liveid havent yet been associated with my portal?
Anyone know the answer to this?

I have not played with LiveID yet, but I would think that "return Url" could be almost any page on your site. For starters, have you tried the home page as the "return Url"?

You are going down the right path for the return URL, it MUST be the login page for DotNetNuke.

In my blog http://www.mitchelsellers.com I have a tutorial that guides you through the entire LiveID configuration.

Well thx so far guys. :-)

Ive been able to get Liveid to work, but it happend kinda weird and accidental though as i wanted to deactivate liveid login as i couldnt make it work.
Unfortunately i deactivated the default DNN login instead leaving me with no option than getting liveid to work in order to log in to my portal again!

So i went to msm.live.com and tried to fiddle with the "return url" again, i set it to my domain name (www.1hag.dk) and suddenly liveid worked, when i tried to login to my portal, i could associate my useracct with my liveid.

However i couldnt associate my default user (the host), it kept telling me ive netered the wrong user/pass combo, even though i re-entered it several times, with and wiithout casing.

My gf had no probs getting her acct associated with her liveid and i tried a testuser i set up earlier, that also worked fine, only the host user didnt seem to work.
Now everything seemed fine until i wanted to log out, at my portal i couldnt log out while signed in with liveid, nor could i get live.com to log me off my portal either?!?

I had to use my gf's admin acct to go and delete my testuser in order to be able to get logged out so that i could log in with my host accct again.

Now does anyone know the solution to log out from DNN when logged in with liveid without having to delete the user acct?
