I'm starting to see tons of these messages in my DNN Event Viewer.  Can anyone tell me what they mean???

the error seems to occur in the .NET framework, seemingly caused by a strange browser useragent string. Do you have more information maybe about what browser is used when this error occurs? Might be a search bot

Unfortunately that's all the information I have.  I wouldn't know about these issues at all if it weren't for the DNN Event Viewer.  I've been getting several of these all from different referring website daily.

Our old site was visited quite frequently by people and was attacked using Cross Site Script Injection.  I wouldn't be surprised if people were attempting the same sorts of attacks on the new site.

We saw a cluster of these on our DNN server on 8/29. Reviewing the logs showed that a series of requests came from an IP registered by RIPE.NET in Amsterdam. Here are the entries in our log:

2008-08-29 23:50:15 GET /tpg.asp - 80 - 87.118.108.229 HTTP/1.1 Mozilla - - www.ourwebsite.org 200 0 0 22467 79 796
2008-08-29 23:50:17 GET /Portal - 80 - 87.118.108.229 HTTP/1.1 Mozilla - - www.ourwebsite.org 301 0 0 410 78 203
2008-08-29 23:50:18 GET /Portal/default.aspx - 80 - 87.118.108.229 HTTP/1.1 Mozilla - - www.ourwebsite.org  302 0 0 843 79 859
2008-08-29 23:50:18 GET /Portal/Default.aspx tabid=79&error=Value+cannot+be+null.%0d%0aParameter+name%3a+String&content=0 80 - 87.118.108.229 HTTP/1.1 Mozilla - - www.ourwebsite.org  200 0 0 2389 168 406

I don't get why the fault happens, but maybe this will help someone figure it out.

I have the same behaviour when the Yandex search engine bot requests default page of my website

ActiveTabID: 36 ActiveTabName: главная RawURL: /.aspx?=1&id=312 AbsoluteURL: /.aspx UserAgent: Yandex/1.01.001 (compatible; Win16; F)

I can't understand where this bot gets such strange url's like: /.aspx?=1&id=312.
