I need a simple module that creates a basic HTML Marquee.

I have been using the TEXT/HTML module but it automatically adds and additional

tag each time it is modified

Is there a module that I can use to accomplish my task or is there a way to precent the

tag from being added with each modifcation?

Thanks in advance.

You can put the marquee script at the header and footer of container so it would not be effected by HMTL module modification.

Yes that is a great solution Nicholas, but I beleive there is a character limit in the header / footer. It also poses a problem because I'm working with novice computer users that are also new to DNN.

There are several modules on Snowcovered.com that can do scrolling text effects. Have a look there.

The "Scrolling Text" module is what you are looking for.  It's on www.OnyakTech.com.   Or, you may want a step up from that and use Oseta (version 2 of the same module), a demo is here: https://www.onyaktech.com/Demos/OsetaDemo/tabid/572/Default.aspx
