I went around and back trying to figure out a good store for a nonprofit client. I bought catalook and was sunk by the complexity of it. I looked at other DNN solutions as well and was not thrilled. I then decided to go with an "outside the portal" solution. I found that the client does not care about or is very clued in about things "in or out" of their DNN portal. They just want something solid that works, is a good value, and is easy to learn. I spent maybe 2 hours helping them get it set up two years ago and last month they sold $8000 of stuff! Better, I do not hear a peep out of them on how to deal with and it adds new features automatically and has its own support system. You can see their store here. They have come up with some creative ways to use the store to sell memberships, take donations, register people for workshops, order different sized and colors of clothing, etc.

The store is based on this product. We make a small cut on that and they are happy. Although not the solution for everyone it does have many advantages.
