I am in need of a good backup solution for my dotnetnuke installation.  I would like the ability to backup to my home computer or another server.  I need one that will work on windows 2008 IIS 7.  The ease of restoring the site from backup is also an important issue.  Is it better to use a DNN backup system or a full server backup system?  What are the people here using?

I use a maintenance job in SQL that includes backups, I do a scheduled zip of the DNN folders and I use BackupExec to back up both the DNN server and the SQL server nightly.  ON my personal hosted site I use my host's backup options.

All the things you need to backup are DNN website directory and SQL MDF and LOG file.

You can use a backup software do this job or simple use SQL Server Agent and backup program shipped with window server 2000 or 2003
