Just wondering how much other people have paid for server ram upgrades?

I have been quoted $50 (US$) per month to add an extra 512mb of ram to our dedicated server - thats $600 (US$) per year for an extra 512mb of ram..

I am very unhappy with that price as you can by a 2 gig ECC stick of ram for $68.99 or 2 gig fully buffered ECC for $108.99.

I have checked other dedicated server websites & they all seem to charge a lot less than this (or give you a lot more ram for this price).

Just wondering what other people have paid & think of this price?
