Hi all DNN pros

Why is it that when you are trying to delete file nr 2 from filemanager it is being locked. The first file I try to delete works like a charm ... but when attempting to delete file nr 2 dotnetnuke doesn't agree with me ......

regrettably this is something that is not solved easily. It is an issue of ASP.NET. Whenever changes in folders occur, the asp.net process goes to work to find new executable files. For this, it looks at ever file, and puts a lock on each file it looks at. At the moment there is no fix available.

Thanks for letting me know. I have read the thread on the support gemeni changelogg and I would say there is something you guys could do to fix this permanently ... every time I experience this problem I do a restart application inside the host >> settings because I am a ohst admin at the same time .... can't you dotnetnuke guys not just implement the code executing when hitting "Restart application" button behind every file deletion?

/Johan
