My first post here, I have been very impressed by your community so far!

Just re-launched our non-profit website through a DNN (tenacity.org) platform and obviously since we are non-profit, our donation page is probably one of the most important and critical aspects to the overall website. Our original attempt to place PayPal within the DNN structure was a failure so we ended up having to set up an I-frame structure. This seemed to work well for a few months when everyone was still on IE6. As soon as IE7 kicked in, everything went to hell! Now everytime someone clicks on the button within IE7, they get an error page. I called PayPal and they were basically no help (they are all still on IE6 so they can't even do onsite testing!)...

What is weird is that the PayPal button works fine in Firefox and was working fine in IE6 so I know it is an IE7 compatibility problem, so I am here to see if anyone else has run into this issue and if yes, what has been done about it. Considering that 60% of our user base and potential donors run IE7 you can understand why the pressure is on for me, no donations means I could be out of a job in the near future :)

To clarify, I am the IT OPs Manager who was the project coordinator for the site re-launch, not the DNN coding tech. So you will understand why I am not exactley super detailed with my info - sorry about that!

I've got the same issue so I would love to hear if anyone has figured out how to correct the paypal button issue.  As stated it works fine in Firefox but not in IE7.

I don't know why it doesn't work specifically, but I'll bet it's some sort of cross-site security issue.

My suggestion would be to save yourself a lot of wasted time and effort and instead donate a few Dollars to get a proper Paypal donations DNN module. There are several commercial ones on Snowcovered, or you can try finding the free one that used to be on this site, but I don't know if it's still supported or available.

Rob
