Dear Colleagues!

We have approved module for review more then 1 month ago. We still has no EMAIL ever about the status. Where is the sense for this label? Think it has no sense :( Anybody has the same experience with it? We have sent a lot of emails, but no answers :(

I know that they are working on it, I am also working to get you an answer regarding the status.

I do believe personally that the review program does have value in the end as it does validate, via a third party, that your module complies with certain standards.  In a way it can give peace of mind to a user, as if it passes the review process they can be more assured that your module will not break their systems.

freedotneetnuke,

At the time I was waitnig for my "webskingraft" to be reviewed,  it took more than one month, i think it was closer to three but maybe i'm wrong.

The reason it took so long, was because I was the first to use in my software (skin package) a third party module. (house of nuke skin object). At least that was what I was told. (it was like two different things to check.)

In your case maybe the problem is different:

While some of your modules are user's ideas and thoughts:

You don't have in your site any "privacy" link.

You don't have in your site any "terms of use" link.

There is nothing which explains what your rights about these modules.

I don't konw if that what they care about and hold them , but I think it should.

Especially if you offer free modules for people, then you should at least tell them that you keep the rights to sell these modules, for money.

in my case I'm referring to the "Extrausersonline", which was my idea and unfortanutally I wasn't ever able to use it because the three times I tried ended up with me restarting DNN.

Avi

ExtrausersOnline is not free anymore. There are 78 users (by 30 Sep 2008) have been installed and use it. Have no idea, why your site goes down after installation :( If you have any ides, then we can help you with it.
