I have just recently became a user of DotNetNuke and have been frustrated that I am unable to implement simple features with CSS without creating a new skin e.g have a different backround image for seperate pages.

I think it would be helpful if an ID selector based on the parent page name were added to the element of Default.aspx . I think giving each page their own ID selector would be a step too far and would actually make no difference to the current situation for large sites. I'd suggest using the top level parent page name , this would enable control over each 'section' of a site.

This would give more freedom to achieve thing using CSS rather than having multiple skins with subtle differences.
