Last night, I download DotNetNuke 4.9.0 and install it fresh. It was smooth installation. I create some pages, and it was ok.

But this morning, when I try to login, the login form did not appear, and it display "Object not set...". Basically, there is no form for me to enter my login and password. I can't find any solution but to delete entire folder, delete database, and create another fresh copy.

This round, I create page for Account Login, but the module that I added, it does not show any login & password box, weird thing is, when I click on Login, the login form appear. Seems like the Account Login module was corrupted.

Anyone else encounter this problem, and care to share with me please. I don't know when it is going to down next. Once all the content is uploaded, I cannot afford to install fresh again.

Thanks

Is this version bugged?

by design, the account login module is empty once you are logged in.

Thanks for reply. I've tested it and you are right. But, my concern will be more on what I encounter earlier. Click on Login link, but no login form appear, unable to login. Which leave me no choice but to reinstall entire things.

Hope for solution for this, else I'll need to cross my finger and open up the website everyday to make sure that problem doesn't appear again.

Thanks

after installation, the final app restart might not be executed properly and result in errors - in this case you need to restart application or app pool manually.

When clicking 'login' or 'register', the module (form) does not appear.  This is the second installation of DNN that this has happened on.  It seems to occur after making changes to the file structure of the solution in Visual Studio 2008.  However, as far as I know, nothing was altered that involved the login.  Do you have any clues here?
