Simply put, the Dotnetnuke Registration form is an ugly mess.
It does a lot of things which is nice, but it is also the reason it is such a pain to make it look pleasing to the eye.

My biggest problem with it:
It is impossible to require (Prefix, First Name, Last Name, Suffix) at registration without the user having to enter their name 2 times!
If you turn off the visibily of the duplicated (First Name, Last Name) then under name you just have Prefix which look ridiculous.
If you have AspDotNetStoreFront installed the user gets to enter their name 2 more times!

Anyone else frustrated by this, Anyone have any suggestions? I have AspDotNetStoreFront installed so any option needs to allow for this content to be entered in some form or another.

That looks like a bug ... First Name/Last Name should not be showing twice.    I guess that most sites do not use prefix/suffix.  .. What good is suffix anyway?? :)

I wont tell you to log the bug in gemini - its too hard for the average person to log a bug report.  Maybe someone who uses gemini daily will help you with that?

JK.

Hi Brad,

See if this will work for you:

I made these changes to the user profile properties.  I chose "name-extra" because I couldn't think of anything better.  You don't really have to change the group name for those two items but it thought just "Name" was not appropriate.  I also like to move country to the top of the address section so it doesn't mess up the state selection after you have already entered it.  I also made the prefix and suffix "required" but they don't need to be.

It isn't a bug, they just don't work well together.

I think if you have the Name section visible, the First and Last Name from the required Section should be automatically entered "onBlur" into a Label controll in the Name section.

Does that sound like something that can be done?
