Hi,

Not sure what happened... but I signed on as a Host user... and there is a Host menu item, but there is nothing underneath it... Can anyone please help? All the other menus (admin and the individual site menus are fine, it's just the host menu that is missing)

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Hi Bill,

One of a couple things may have happened:

1)  Your hosting provider may have disabled the host menu.  We give our customers full control over their DotNEtNuke website, but you should contact your host for more details.

2)  You may be running a version of DotNetNuke that has a caching bug.  Have your hosting provider recycle your website's app pool and if the menu iteams appear, it was a caching bug.  Just upgrade to 4.9.0.

Thanks for your quick reply,  we've had access to it in the past, and upgraded to 4.9 when it first came out... I will still ask them to recycle the app pool and see what happens...

Did you have it and then it just all the sudden disappear or did you loose it when upgrading to 4.9?

It just suddenly disappeared... whats strange is the Host menu item is still there, but if you click on it, instead of it bringing up a menu of stuff, it brings up a empty host window... very odd
