To be fair, I was told to IM someone to try and resolve it but I have not done this for one sole reason - I am trying to make a point here - when the main communications system of a company is broken it should not take a year to fix! I could possibly hack a fix my symptoms (did not work last time I tried) but we need to attack the cause of the problem.

I cannot believe what a low priority these forums are given and I shudder to think how much business/communications/progress etc. has been lost because of some simple bug. It's terrible example to set and major issues like this should be resolved in well under a year...

Rob,

I feel your pain here!  I too have had a very hard time keeping track of the threads, posts, users that I have been tracking here on my side.  I find that it is very hard to keep up on them without the forum notifications.  This is one of the reasons taht I have had more traffic on my forums...

As sebastian noted, this issue has been raised to the corporation and the project team, and hopefully we can get resolution on it very soon!

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll start doing a once-a-day glance through the aggregated group to try and catch anything important, but I'm going to have to give up helping people out until it's fixed. I'm giving the dogfooding process a big fail for this.

Tony, I'll send you an email now.

Rob
