Good evening all. Does anyone know of a Help Desk Module that basically someone logs in, submitts a ticket, has the ability to maybe add categories, then a description and attach files. All the modules I am finding are rather expensive and include way more then I need or are to difficult to setup (SigmaPro - OnyakTech). Just simple..... anyone....?

Thanks!

Funnily enough I'd be interested in the same topic myself right now, things must have moved on by now.... Any recommendations?

I just hope you are not using this for people to log live fire incidents Mike!!! :). Or maybe you are!

Have you considered using a forum application?  Active Forums could meet your basic needs and with some template modifications actually look like a help desk.  Plus,  you would already have in-bound and out-bound message processing if you used Active Forums Enterprise edition.  Just something to consider.

No, actually I am a man of many hats! I posted the question for my website design business (www.TrialByFireDesigns.com) rather then keeing two login names on DNN. As for the fire incidents.... we have programs 'recommended' by the state...lol

I just want something simple for my clients to basically post their changes and add documents to it. I want to 'make them' use one utility because right now it's a mixture of phone calls, emails and text messages for their changes.

Will, thanks for your comments and suggestions. I guess I would have to see how the module works. A 'forum' doesn't seem personal. I don't want people to see the text and documents of other clients, confidentiality you know. Because I want this to be really basic to start I think your module, though I'm sure it's worth the $100, but it's more then I want to invest at this time, minly because I want to see how it works.
