Website is set to validate email address upon registration. However, once a user validates his/her email id, they can change (and actually remove) the email address though their user account. The email field can remain blank or someone can fill it up with incorrect email id. How do you re-validate this changed/new email address and block the access unless they do it or reinstate the old validated email address, if the user fails to validate his/her new email id.

Do I make sense? Please let me know if I do. (not that I make sense but about re-validation :) )

Thanks.

I guess the core needs to be adapted to have a more sophisticated email update process as this should not be allowed.

I am about to switch on verified emails on PokerDIY.com (I have a LOT of fake emails signing up!) and am wondering on the best strategy to check all the existing ones (I may not even bother).
