I attempted to update my bio in the profile page here on DotNetNuke.com.  However, even when I rewrote my bio by hand, the bio keeps coming back with the content HTML encoded.  Anyone else experiencing that?  Can you duplicate my findings?  Argh!!!

it is a known issue of the edit control in conjunction with current FCKEditor provider. Next version of FCKeditorProvider (currently in release tracker) provides option to configure to HTML decode content on load.

Will,

If you'll look over in the forum for the FCK Editor Provider, you'll see a thread from earlier this week.  I was able to fix this on my 4.9.0 site by installing a beta version of the provider and changing a config file setting.

This actually rattled my memory - I seem to remember I made a change to the FCK config file (something about encoding/escape) after my DNN 4.9.0 upgrade but I can't find the thread now. The alternative fix would be to download the beta as you have done Joe...
