I was just playing on DNN 5 RC 2 to check out the new deny permission, and I was wondering if there has been a discussion on how the ordering should go, somewhere I can add my two cents on how I think it should go, ect.

(I'm only talking about viewing right now)

There are 2 ways to grant view access to a page, Roles and individually.
Right now, if a role a person is in, is denied view and the person, by username, is granted view access, they are still denied access to the page.

Personally, I think the individual access should override the role access.
That's how I view it, how I'd like it to work, ect. I am interested in seeing/reading/ect any discussion/laid out reasoning on why the deny setting flow is set up how it is.

I hope I made sense there... Thanks.

Also - If someone could provide the link to the gemini issue about this, I'd appreciate it. I tried to search for it but never seemed to find it.

AFAIK it is a common rule, that deny permissions are always added last to overriding grant permissions. In my opinion, deny is used very rarely and should only be used, if necessary, therefore this order makes sense.
