Hello,

I am trying to figure out the best way to setup my dotnetnuke site.  Users select their school when they register, and I'd like for them to go to a seperate homepage based on their school.  I figured I could setup security groups manually that parallel the schools, and setup permissions accordingly...but if I end up with 30-50 schools and a couple of unique pages for each, that could get very messy, particularly when logged in as the admin or host.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to accomplish this, perhaps even having it set by the profile setting automatically so that I do not have to assign security roles manually?

Thanks!

Take a look at the modules available from SmartThinker.  You can set up a group for each school.

Also, ActiveModules has a set of social networking modules that will be available early in January.

Venexus also makes a set of social networking module
