My DNN 4.09.00 site is regularly getting hosed.  I get red warnings all over the place, with an error message saying, "Module Load Warning
One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know."  No matter what I click on, I'm taken to a DNN page that says, "Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b7715c561934e089' failed.  After a few minutes it seems to correct itself and I can again access the site.  This is happening WAY too often (nearly every day).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I have seen this issue popup after making changes to the Resource Strings in the Language Editor. I ended up having to restore a backup to get it to work, since the Module Load error was on the Login Module. This was a DNN 4.8 site. Not sure if this will help.

I'm not sure if this thread is considered closed, but I have recently diagnosed that I am getting the "Module Load Warning" on ANY attemtp to add to an existing thred in the Forum that I've installed (or to create a NEW thread). This means that my Forum is functionally dead.

The complication here is that this is installed on a GoDaddy Windows hosting account and the history is that everything was working fine until approximately 3 months ago. (To be honest, I was not monitoring the functionality as closely as I probably should have and note that it's not clear that any new thread item has been added for perhaps 3 months.)

Has anyone else here had this problem on GoDaddy? Naturally, GoDaddy support here is minimal. I notived in another thread that someone had fixed a similar problem but adjusting the "permissions" on the files of the DotNetNuke directory, but I don't want to proceed with that level of diddling if another solution is available. GoDaddy has suggested [1] backing up the DotNetNuke database and doing an uninstall and re-install (with hopes that I can restore the old database and continue).

Any suggestions, pointers gratefully accepted!

1) Check the event log for errors and paste here.
2) Clear your logs
3) Upgrade to the latest version of DNN.
4) Upgrade to the latest versoin of forums (recently released).

Some of this advice might work...Backup before you do anything.

Thanks...
