I've noticed there is a module you can add to your site called "user account" it's basically the same as the register screen except it shows all the currently logged in users info, and allows them to change their info. My problem is I can't find the source for the module in my DotNetNuke directory to see how it works. I'm very interested in how it knows which user is logged in. Anyone know where I can find the source for it, or know how it works exactly?

DNN is quite diverse in how it uses modules and you can see where modules are sitting by viewing host/module definitions and clicking the module which then takes you to anothe page showing you all the details.

In this instance, the User Account is using the Admin/Security/Register.ascx file - sitting under the Admin folder.  That's where you can view the file.

However, my advice is - backup any file before you touch it.. I've broken a few on the way thinking that it was ok to do something when it wasn't..
