I have used websecurestores and powerdnn

I have recently switched to powerdnn for my first dnn5 site. The support was very good and all was running n no time. the basic plan of powerdnn is double the price of wesecurestores. However with websecureatores you pay for any adittion extra domain aliasses ubdomains etc. In powerdnn thats all included and therye have a great control panels.

Therefore im gradually switching over all my sites from websecurestores to powerdnn

Thanks for the imput.  I am a windows engineer so I am confortable with dealing with alot of issues, but I am not strong on DNN, but I am learning!

The main site i will be putting up is my son's Boy Scout troop's website which I am donating webhosting for, so cost is a factor.  I will also put up a few other including a non DNN photo site that will require PHP.

I am leaning towrds 3Essentials as it seams that they are the best value.  PowerDNN is too much at this time, but I always have the option to move my sites later on.

My vote is for either 3Essentials or webhost4life. Godaddy is cheap but they won't let you install DNN in the root which causes installation headaches.

Yes, WebHost4Life took a serious turn for the worse this past year. They were bought out and restaffed. They have no understanding of DNN anymore. I finally left when they couldn't even handle setting up ftp access for me, let alone manage my DNN hosting. They went from excellent to the absolute worst in terms of service, support, etc. DO NOT host anything at WebHost4Life, not even a single static web page. You'll regret it if you do. 3Essentials has a great support staff. IHostAsp.net is cheap, but any and all support is about a 48 hour minimum right now. I've switched to DNN4Less recently. You could say I'm biased because I also recently partnered with them as a designer, but I'm not being biased in saying their service and support is truly amazing. They do not outsource their support staff. They strive to give 1hour max response time. The servers are super fast and I noticed significant performance increase in my own site that was visible to the naked eye. They have keep alive automatically running on every dnn installation. Unlimited bandwidth which is rare these days. Unlimited parent and child portals. Honestly, for the price they are just amazing and the value is way above hosts charging a lot more for a lot less of the really important stuff. They do also offer a 30 day trial so it's worth looking at them and seeing for yourself just how good they really are. I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't believe in them, partnered with them or not, I tell it like it is.
