I have this dotnetnuke website which is causing a big time problem to me.
When i do some action after 10-15 minutes of inactivity, say like clicking on an hyperlink, i'm redirected to the under contruction page everytime.
The under contruction page also comes up 90% of the time when i just enter the domain name in the url after a long inactivity period. This has started to give both me and the client a big headache as a lot of customer are associated with the portal.
When i remove the the under construction page from the url in the browser and reload the page, it works fine.
When I checked the Even Viewer i found that every time when an under construction page comes up, a message gets logged:
1/27/2009 1:13:34 AM Application Shutting Down Shutdown Details: The AppDomain shut down because of the hosting env ... |
Shutdown Details: The AppDomain shut down because of the hosting environment.
Server Name: GENERIC54 |
|
I'm not sure whats wrong with the portal and i really want to fix this up as soon as possible since this is driving us really crazy.
I dont want the under construction page to pop up everytime after a particular period of inactivity.
I also have a few other DNN websites for some other clients, but those websites do not bring up the under construction page even after a long period of inactivity.
It is just with this particular DNN website that i'm facing this problem.
I'm using the 4.9 version of the DNN.
Please, please, please advice.
