                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     HispanicSMB

hi everybody !!!

i'm just wondering if i could change the text in the REGISTER windows that say :

*Note: Membership to this portal is Public. Once your account information has been submitted, you will be immediately granted access to the portal environment. All fields marked with a red arrow are required.

this is because i don't want the text that says: Membership to this portal is public.. i want to change that... and the first reason is that i want to make my own text in this box... and maybe put an image there.

my website is : www.hispanicsmb.com

thanks to all that can help me !

I would also like to know this.

Just some possible insight to the problem, if go under languages under host or admin and then click language editor, you can change the text of different things that are supposed to display. I assumed it could be found under there, but I did a bit of searching and did not find it (I may have missed it though).

Please let raulhoyos and I know where this text can be found so we can change it. Even if you don't know exactly where it is, but know where it might be or how it gets displayed on the register page, it would greatly help in solving the problem. Thanks!

That string is in \App_GlobalResources\SharedResources.resx.  Look for the resource named PrivateMembership.Text.

It talks about adding custom text and javascript to the REGISTRATION screen.  You can use the same method (include HTML) to add a picture / graphic.
