Hi,

I have a menu which is placed inside a skin. I want the menu to be displayed based on the roles. Suppose a user logs in then he should not see the menu but when a admin user logs in he should be able to see the menu.

Hi
If its a core dnn menu like treeview probably the easiest option is to set all your pages in that menu for admin view only. Then remove any menu headings or anything like that through the associated menu files. So to everyone else its invisible. Your other option is a module based menu where you can set the module's view state. Sounds like you may be looking for some skin based code though to do this.
