-smiles- Hi.

i am very new to dnn and so far i love it and so does my partner. there is something that i seem to not be able to figure out and i really need to be able to.

i need to know how to make back ups of my web site and i also need to know of a way to move my Master portal with all it's children from one server host to another host.

also the backs ups are needed incase something happens that i need to restore my site. this is vital to me and will be the deciding factor on if we continue to use dnn or use something else.

thank you very much for the help

jessa

I think the backing up of your db is up to your hosting provider.

To transfer your site to another host, you simply have to backup your database and restore it to your new database server, and also copy everything in your site directory and paste it to your new site directory.
