Hello All.. I'm new to the community.  I recently installed DNN on my Windows Home Server as a Website.  I was wondering if there is a modual (or any other way) to integrate the WHS Shares with DNN.  For example... (this is a personal website and learning tool).  I would like to be able to login, view, and download Music from my Music Shared folder.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Noah, I use WHS myself, but  I can't say that I've seen any DNN modules that integrate with WHS.

That might be something cool to write if you are looking at learning DNN module development.

Are there any repository or media modules that allow adding a filesystem directory or such which could be used to facilitate this... possibly using an NTFS junction point / symlink to redirect to the media?

Well.. I found a work around that works pretty well for what I want it to do.  There's an add-on for WHS called Webguides that allows remote access to Folders.  I just used the iFrame module to pull that page into the DNN website.  Definately not the most elegant of solutions but it works fine if you have a large library.

Did you know that WHS comes with it's own website that provides you file access? At least mine did when I set it up?

I assumed you knew that and just wanted to play with DNN on WHS,
