Howdy,

I am looking for a module and was hoping you could recommend a few that meet my requirements.

I need the ability for anonymous people to post information to the module, have it send an email and write the information to a database. Then have an administrator view the information put in and be able to search, edit/modify, or delete items and entries.

Up until now I've been using Helferlein forms module, which does most of what I need except the ability to delete an entry or edit an entry.

I had thought about creating a specific report with the reports module but I don't know if I can have the capabilities to edit entries etc.

Thanks,
Dd

I've done surveys in a similar manner using XMod.  Of course it may be overkill for what you need.  You might even get away with the Blog module or Ventrian's News Articles and the right template.

XMOD will do everything you mentioned.  It's not free but, like most DNN modules, it's quite a bargain for the price.  I use it quite a bit and have done all that you mentioned with it.  Also, the level of user support is very good from the developer.

Enterprise forms would be my module of choice for a task such as this. It has advanced work flow features, configurable by the developer, and can execute stored procedures at each step if so configured. Good security control at each work flow state.
