Hi

In one of my child portals i want to move menu from it's default position to a position which is above default position of logo

I noticed when i added this child portal, a new default.aspx page alone was seperately allocated.

Now i want to know what changes i need to make in this portal so that i can move menu to desired position.

Any suggestions or solution. pls reply asap.

Thanks,

Swaminathan

Not sure you need to rearrang items in the menu or you want to move the entire menu structure from location to another one.

If the menu location is correct in the parent portal but not the child portal, make sure your child portal uses the same skin at the parent portal.  Login with Host or Admin account and then go to Admin >> Skins menu to manage the skin.

If you need to re-arrange item in the menu, go to Admin >> Pages menu.

If you want to customize the skin to your own need, suggest to read the DNN documentation about the skin.  You find the Skin document part of the set of document set that you can download from the DNN download page.  Or buy new skin from DNN marketplace or snowcovered online store.

Hi

I wanted to move the entire menu to top.

I got it by removing the logo . Instead of logo i use a banner below menu to show the logo.

Viz. I just wanted menu on top of the page and logo below it.

Also i could change entire look and field of website by changing portal.css file and also for modules by changing their respective css file.

Thanks

Swaminathan.
