Take a lot of cpu in Opera and Chrome too.

But why bother it works in IE 6 and IE 7.  This is just the main window to customers.

Charles Nurse wrote

Its fine for me - firefox is around 8% at most.

Confirmed -- Charles Nurse's machine is superior to all others.

Here's the proof:

  • Informal / familiar name of "Charles" is "Chuck".

  • Etymology of "Nurse" leads to old French word "norrice" (also "nourice" and "nurice").  "Nurse" = "Norrice" = "Norris" (see here).

I have therefore discovered that "Charles Nurse" is actually "Chuck Norris" and everyone knows Chuck Norris' computer is never maxed out as Chuck Norris does all computations in his head.

It appears that "Chuck" simply parts his hair on the other side to become "Charles"...

Chuck versus Charles

This revelation demands it's own forum area for "Charles Nurse Facts" entries:

  • Charles Nurse doesn't submit bugs to Gemini.  Charles Nurse just stares the bugs down until they submit themselves.

  • "DNN" was originally an acronym invented by Shaun Walker meant as a warning to the world:  Don't Nag Nurse

  • When Charles blogs about a DNN manifest the rest of the world calls it "manifest destiny" and implements whatever Charles suggests.

(For anyone not familiar with the humor of "Chuck Norris Facts", see here.)

Just a little humor for the end of the week...
