I have just moved my DNN database from development to the production server. On trying to get onto the production site I got the above loop. I then realised I had the portalalias table set to the development URL. After changing this entry to the production URL I still got the error. I then restored the previous version of the DNN database - and I still got the error. It is as if there is something stuck in the DNN cache. Unfortunatley I can't restart the IIS server as this is a production server.

I have even stop/started and deleted the site on IIS and rebuilt it. I still get the loop in "exec dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID @PortalID = 0". Looking on Google this seems to be a common error.  What is causing this and what is the way to fix it short of powering down the production server?
