Can anyone pls explain me the detailed process of creating portal & Events for Particular date?

How to create new parent portal & chile portal ?

would you mind to be more specific about your needs and use case - which type of events are you talking about?

to create a new portal, make sure domain name is pointing to the DNN web site (is already done for child portals) 

Next, login as superuser ("host") and enter "Portals" in Host menu. Click add and specify portal details.

Submit and access new portal vial link displayed.
