Alert

DNN 04.08.03

After 3 hours testing an apparently catastrophic problem today, it turned out to be nothing more than the fact that using the word 'Alert' in a page name causes multiple errors, mostly 404's and other URL-related problems. Also some ASP messages to confuse us.

On further investigation it turns out typing 'Alert' in a wiki page causes the content to get truncated as well, apparently before it even reaches the database. Any ideas? Strange that one word has been reserved or prohibited, unfortunately it's used quite frequently in my line of work.

Guess we'll find out more if this post brings the forum down, apologies in advance if it does.

It won't - you need to upgrade to DNN 4.9.3 to solve this...

Cheers!
