I'm building a web page with DNN 4.9 and would like to know wich module to use to do something.

I would like to be able to post 1 time a day a picture and some links on 2 different content panes, and users will be able to comment the picture.

When a user goes to my web page they will see the "Picture of the day" and the links etc... But He can also chose a past date with a datetime picker  to see what was the picture and link for that day.

Is this possible without creating a new page for each day?

try using NewsArticle from www.ventrian.com for this purpose.

I had a look at this module but i'm not sure it will fit my needs.  Is there any other option?

I was thinking about a simple Datetimepicker and a request to a SQL database that will store picture's URL and link fields. Do you think it is possible that way?

Thank for the answer.

The news Article module will do what you want - just need to create the templates to do exactly what you want.  Basically you would set the news articles as a blog - the blog entry is simply a picture -  then set the archive module to sort by date. Don't be misled by the names of these modules they are quite powerdfull and used for many differeing uses

Other wise start with the media or links module and modify them to get exactly what you want  should be quite simply to change these
