no problem :) The rollout of a release that has security implications takes quite a few stages (and people) with bulletins being created, gemini issues being added (both of which are private until the public release), and various blog posts, announcements, and the links to the releases themselves. As the community is so diligent, they typically start discovering these part way through the rollout and query "missing" parts - just give us a little time and all the bits will be there.

yes, there will be a CE release - the 4.9.4 releases address 2 security issues, and an issue with module caching and browsers, so the amount of code change from 4.9.3 is relatively small.

Cathal

Where can I find more information on the issue with module caching that is fixed in 4.9.4?

Looking at the Gemini site, I can't find anything on the 4.9.4 release - probably me looking in the wrong place - so can someone please post the correct link.

Thanks

 Hi Supa,

Take a look at this link:

You'll have to scroll down to the 4.9.4 section.

Cheers Tony,

Unfortunately the module caching fix wasn't what I was hoping for.

I was looking for a fix similar to this support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx for module installation.

We have issues similar to this one when adding custom modules to our portal we often get timeouts that cause mayhem!

Did you log your issue at support.dotnetnuke.com?
