Hi everyone.

We are experiencing an odd site failure and wonder if any has had this happen before. It a few hours after an update from 4.9.1 > 4.9.4.
Suddenly the site began to output only Wing-Ding type jibberish font instead of the sites content. The site is running however. The perplexing part is when viewing in IE8 the site runs fine, and apparently some but not all IE7 run the site.

I really don't know what else to add other that its very strange and the site is crippled

Thanks for the help

Mark

Thank you for the help guys, I work extensivly in Japanese so I keep a close eye on charset and encoding matter.
The issue here was actually due to complication with HTTP MODULE in my web.config, specifically HttpModule Compression and HttpModule Snapsis Page blaster. It seems page blaster does not like another entity doing its work and really throws a fit about it! Its was an oversite when cleaning up the web.config of old junk after the DNN upgrade, someone turned on the compression again.

Thanks again

Mark
