Where can I get an authorization / verification module for new users that register. Something like what dotnetnuke.com uses for all new users that sign up would do. I am using dnn3 and also 4

What about using the AccountLogin module that is part of the DNN core?

it is funny, I had to answer the same question today in a German forum:

goto admin::site settings and set user registration to "verified".
