There's an example of MetaPost's Link extender feature at their site itcrossing.com. The feature where it opens a site in an IFrame in a modal window. I would like to use the same effect in one of my none DNN sites.

I think it's using a css/js feature called LightBox. It seems there are a bunch of versions of LightBox on the web. I have checked out some of them but they don't do quite the same effect. Anyone knows how to do the effect? I probably can look at the source but I want a ready-to-use library.

A bit off topic but man that MetaPost module rocks. If you're updating content on your DNN site without it then you're putting yourself through unnecessary pain.

You install this module and then use Windows Live Writer to post content to your website. Basically you open Windows Live Writer, select your website, and then it shows each HTML module in your site. You select one of the HTML modules and you then see the content in the Windows Live Writer editor. You can drag and drop images, make tables, ect. Basically Windows Live Writer feels like Microsoft Word.

When done you click Publish and you're done.

It has a bunch of other features like auto thumbnail ect. The DotNetNuke Core Blog module allows you to do all this but it only works with the Blog module. METAPost works with the Text/HTML module.

Don't FCKEditor and RadEditor do all this? You  drop images, create tables plus much more and then publish. RadEditor has some built im image manipulation.

Tell me about something I can't do with these editors which Metapost. Cause you make sound it that MetaPost is really much better and I can't kind find out why.
