Hi

 

I logged into my site this morning and found the banner logo on the server (while it still had the same name) was replaced with the following;

I had a look at the site but it's not in engish and we have nothing to do with them?

Any clues on how I can prevent this in the future

Allpy latest service packs to the Web server, use secure ftp passwords and Upgrade DNN to the latest version.

thanks for the swift reply, I don't think they got in through FTP the pw is as long as possible and only accessed from a computer where the AV is bang up to date.

Is there anything else on the server I should do to secure the setup?

I would strongly recommend upgrading to the most current version of DotNetNuke.  There was a security notice put out about a potential risk in older versions.
