In DNN 5, you may want to use form and List module.

Besides, there is free Helferlein form @ www.helferlein.com.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks a lot for the response.I tried using forms and list module. But it did allowed me to make the fields in the database and enter the value for it in the interface. But i was not able to make custom forms which will give other users chance to fill those form and the data be updated in the database...I havent tried helferlein.com but i think i should try that.

Can we build the custom form for other users using forms and LIST module which is called User defined table???

Thanks

Sudeep

form and List is the successor of UserDefinedTable, adding the form mode allowing to use the module like a feedback form and e.g. use a module reference (Shadow copy) on another page to view all entered records. there are a few examples on www.formandlist.com, a site built using solely formAndList module.

To provide custom layout of rendered views, check out the options on the configuration form, I apologize, that the updated user manual is still being worked on.
