I don't have a Blackberry myself, but I had someone tell me the other day they couldn't log into my site.  The blackberry browser is throwing a javascript error.  I'm running 4.8.  Has anyone ever had any experience with this?

Out of the box it's not useable on Blackberries or many other mobile devices.  Viewing can be okay, but the client code isn't compatible.  Look in the Marketplace or Snowcovered for third party solutions.

Hi
The RIM native browser packaged with all the blackberries I've owned or seen is pretty awful at handling javascript and throws that error a lot on all sorts of sites, not just DNN ones. If people are just viewing a DNN site through this browser its often just fine. If you are trying to have people edit the site through their blackberries you might suggest that they load Opera Mini (http://www.opera.com/mini/). Its a third party browser application for blackberries and other mobile devices. It handles Java script much better and is faster. It doesn't pull down the module edit menu for me but if you had the edit text link at the bottom of the module (I do not), it may allow you to edit your content. I can't say as I havent tested that aspect further. I can log in, view secured content and opperate expanding menus and so on while using opera. Things that the rim browser had trouble with. There are some other 3rd party browsers out there as well that you'll probably find in a google search.

Hope that helps
MIke
