Hello!

Not sure if anyone can help.  set up new site on DNN and everything was going great.  Suddenly I cannot access any of the pages under the host navigation which is obviouly a big deal.  This is the message I get;

Failed to Connect

The connection was refused when attempting to contact xxxxx.com

Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

    *  Could the site be temporarily unavailable? Try again later.

    *  Are you unable to browse other sites?  Check the computer's network connection.

    *  Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I am talking to the hosting guys but they don't really do much with dnn so not getting the answers I need.  I have now asked them to re start the ISS to see if that helps.

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening and how to fix it?

Thanks

Ginnie

It simply sounds like your system is running low on resources and/or is not respodning.

Do all other pages work?  What version of DNN?  Any recent changes?

Thanks for your reply.  Someone else figures it out.  I had an SSL setting ticked when it shouldn't have been to it was trying to access the host under https when I did not have a secure certificate.  Very simply but as I am new at this did not think about it.
