So, in the host settings, what exactly is the "display beta message?"

Is this a message that can be used as a skin object in skins hopefully? And if so, what is the skin object for for an aspx file? If not, where exactly would this message be displayed and to who?

My goal would to use it as a skin object and wrap with some sort of image display for skin inclusion. Thus used for testing a site with new features or notifying users of beta testing on module and DNN core upgrades, etc.

I believe this is just a setting for DNN to display a message in the title bar of the browser when running a beta build of a new release. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can use it in such a manner as you are trying to describe above.

I checked, and there doesn't seem to be any change in the title bar of my browser showing that my site would be in "beta". Tested IE7 and FF2.

Anyone else care to chime in on what the "Beta Message" is for, and where (how) it is displayed?

Beta warning will appear, if you are running a beta build of the framework
