Hi.  I'm setting up a new DNN system for Softletter (www.softletter.com).  We're looking to create a login system that only allows one user to login and stay in the system at one time.  IOW, if I logged in as rickchapman with the appropriate PW, handed out my login info and PW to someone else, and we both logged in simultaneously with the same account information, either the second person would be prevented from logging in or the first would be logged out of the system. Also, we'd want to have a log created of these incidents so that we could decide if the user account information was being abused.

Does anyone have a turnkey solution for this type of situation or experience in developing this type of system?

Rick I can't say I've tried that, but by enabling the user's online functionality you could probably create a custom authentication provider that checked against the user's online data and verified if someone could login or not.

Probably a fairly straightforward enhancement that we could tackle at Engage, www.engagesoftware.com
