We're currently in the process of upgrading to DNN 5.1.1, but have noticed several members of the membership provider that have been marked Obsolete with empty descriptions.  Does anyone have any idea why these were marked obsolete?

yes, the isHydrated checks were not as performant as we would like (primarily as it was very rare to have a user object with only the base properties - some action almost always hydrated it) so we implemented an alternative lazy loading strategy and obsoleted the signatures with that parameter.
